URL QR Code Generator

Create custom QR codes that instantly open a website, landing page, online store, social profile, document, or any other URL. Simply enter your web address and generate a QR code that can be downloaded and used across digital and printed materials.

To make your QR code more recognizable and consistent with your brand, you can optionally upload a logo that will be placed at the center of the QR code. This is a popular choice for businesses, events, marketing campaigns, and product packaging.

Using a Logo in Your QR Code

Adding a logo improves brand visibility and can increase user trust and scan rates. However, because the logo covers part of the QR code’s data area, it may affect readability if not configured correctly.

QR codes include a built-in error correction mechanism that allows scanners to recover data even when a portion of the code is obscured, damaged, or partially hidden by a logo. The larger the logo, the more important it becomes to use an appropriate error correction level.

For optimal scanning performance:

  • Keep the logo centered within the QR code.
  • Avoid using logos that occupy too much of the QR code area.
  • Maintain sufficient contrast between the QR code and its background.
  • Test the generated QR code with multiple devices before publishing.
  • Increase the error correction level when using larger logos.

QR Code Error Correction Levels

QR codes support four error correction levels:

LevelData Recovery CapacityRecommended Use
LApproximately 7%QR codes without logos or with minimal customization
MApproximately 15%Standard QR codes with small logos
QApproximately 25%Medium-sized logos and branded QR codes
HApproximately 30%Large logos or highly customized QR codes

Recommended Settings

  • No logo: Level L or M
  • Small logo (up to 15% of QR area): Level M
  • Medium logo (15–20% of QR area): Level Q
  • Large logo (20–25% of QR area): Level H

While higher error correction improves resilience, it also increases the density and complexity of the QR code. For this reason, selecting the lowest level that reliably supports your design is generally recommended.
